McDonald's — Restaurant in Holzwickede

This specific McDonald’s location is the worst service ever (and I’ve been in lots of McDonald’s worldwide). 1 star is already too good for the horrible service they have…

We use ordering by car service. They took more than 6 minutes just to take the order from the car in front. When it was our turn, we had 2 codes ready to make it agile (each code already with the mc menu each of us wanted), we gave the first as usual (which took no longer than 30 seconds) and then when we ask the lady for making the second code she was completely confused and called her shift supervisor “Ivan”, which refused to take it, by saying there was one more car behind us and they are “full” so he can’t take any other items in our order, we asked once again that we would like to order more and we have the code ready, so please just take it (we were really polite), but by then there were already 2 cars behind us, so he continued to refuse. (We’ve been to McDonald’s which are full for real and never been in this position of not being able to place an order).

We needed to wait again for the car in front since he had a problem to pay (the lady was new and she didn’t know how to do things, which is understandable but when this supervisor showed up to “help”, it still took him again more than 5 minutes, and by the gestures of the guy in the car he was also not happy with the service). We were waiting so long for nothing.

When we came to the window, we asked for his name and position, and of course didn’t take any food. He had this arrogant look which was so unprofessional.

I would expect the same or similar customer service at all McDonald’s locations, but this is BY FAR the worst and honestly if I would own it I would have...

Basically exactly how you'd imagine a McDonald's and how most of them are. Most of the staff are very friendly, some seem a little overly stressed and thus not very talkative or supportive, but let's be honest, it IS a quite stressful job, so, that's acceptable and I won't judge that negatively.

The store does feature a McCafé as well, in case that you want cake, coffee or the likes. I do not recommend getting Frappés or Iced Coffés, at any McDonald's, though, as they're done with big amounts of ice cubes that are ultimately bad for the taste.

As usual you normally get your food quite quick.

The store does feature a play area for children and an outdoor area with more seats and playground.

The toilets are relatively clean, only feature cold water and an air hand-drying, though, no warm water or paper towels.

Ultimately a quite standard McDonald's, but with a nice outdoor area and friendly staff.

Prices and food quality align with the other stores, so nothing...

Der Laden war nie der sauberste aber es war immer ok, bis heute. Alle Tische voller Müll, damen Toiletten ekelhaft (Urin Geruch, Urin auf dem boden, kaputte Toiletten, Blut und Stuhlgang an den klobrillen). Wir wollten eigentlich vor Ort essen, haben und dann aber entschieden das Essen einzupacken und mitzunehmen, haben es dann doch nicht gegessen da die eindrücke auch zuhause noch dafür gesorgt haben das der Hunger verschwand. Mitarbeiter wie auch die Leitung des heutigen Abends stiegen einfach über den Müll und Dreck drüber welcher im gesamten küchenbereich auf dem boden lag. Die Arbeitsflächen wo das Essen zubereitet wird dreckig. Während des gesamten Aufenthalt sind die meisten Gäste welche den Laden betreten haben direkt wieder gegangen, da ihnen der Zustand vor dem bestellen aufgefallen ist (uns leider nicht sonst hätten wir genauso gehandelt). Die Mitarbeiter sahen nicht wirklich gestresst aus (zumindest standen sie in der Gruppe und unterhielten sich über privates) daher verstehe ich den Zustand leider nicht. Mir als schwangere Person war in dem Laden echt unwohl. Normalerweise geben ich Geschäften immer eine weitere Chance (jeder kann mal unterbesetzt sein oder einen schlechten Tag haben) aber hier werde ich nicht mehr hin gehen sondern fahre das nächste mal lieber weiter und esse...
