Café Bar am Bärenplatz — Restaurant in Hornberg

A wonderful relaxed atmosphere with good food. We were visiting Hornberg because my 81yr old mother-in-law used to live here 60 years ago. It was a nice trip down memory lane and the best part may have been this cafe. It was late afternoon on a Friday and everything in this small village was closed! Wow the food is wonderful. We stopped on our way from Lake Konstanz on Christmas Day. Lasagnas, salad, Black Forest cake and cheesecake. Beautiful food. So happy to have stopped here. Wonderful service from the team as well. Thank you

Am letzten Abend des Musiksommers, verweilten wir in dem Café am Bärenplatz. Was uns geboten wurde, war schlichtweg eine Frechheit. Die Antipasti-Platte für 2 Personen und stolze 21,50 Euro umfaßte gerade einmal 1 Scheibe Salami, 1 Scheibe Schinken pro Person, 1 kleiner Champignon mit Frischkäsefüllung, den wir uns dann teilten, 3 Mini-Kügelchen Mozzarella und 2 winzig-kleine Ecken Käse. Umrahmt wurde das Ganze mit ein paar Scheiben gegrilltem Gemüse von Zucchini und Aubergine und ein paar Oliven. Bei unserem Besuch davor bestand die Platte noch immerhin aus 4 Scheiben Wurst und von allem war zumindest pro Person das Gleiche darauf. Aber auch da war der Preis schon gepfeffert.
