Bonsch Pension is a lovely little place with infallible service. It's located in Oberwesel along the Rhine, which is a quaint picturesque village with lots of charm.||||The rooms were very large and clean and there's free bottled water and chocolates in the room, which I thought was a really lovely touch.||||The downstairs is actually a bakery, which a selection of mouth-watering german cakes. The owner of the pension is the baker and the business has been in his family for generations. For breakfast he makes you boiled eggs, pots of tea or coffee, fresh bread (you must try the croissants!), plus cold meats and cheese. Only bread rolls (very fresh), cold cuts, a glass of jucie and a boiled egg. The jams did seem to be homemade. We speak a few words of german, which was enough to get the info we needed from the owner. The owner did not show any aptitude for english, and did not even slow his german down...
