The floor design and people who worked there are nice, but I am not including these in my review because I go to restaurants to eat, not to admire the tables and chairs.
The menu is a barren wasteland of tiresome choices. There are extremely limited condiment options, no bun variety, and there is no variety of meat for the patties themselves. If a restaurant chooses to sell just burgers then they should make it interesting.
If you sit anywhere near the entrance be prepared for a low quality speaker to be blasting the most annoying music imaginable. It was seriously so loud that I could barely hear the people talking just a few seats over.
Without factoring in price, Smash and Dash serves below average burgers and mildly depressing fries.
Considering price in my evaluation, I don't know how this place is still in business. The burger patties were dry and uninteresting. The onions were watery and flavorless almost like they were boiled before fried. I am deeply confused as to how the onions had more moisture than the beef. The cheese seems to exist just to hide the poor quality of the rest of the ingredients. And finally, the buns would have been better if toasted longer. The buns were somehow the biggest redeeming quality of the burger itself.
The fries tasted like they were either sitting out for a long time or made from frozen. There was a subtle staleness and odd texture to them. Maybe the oil was due.
If a business decides to charge restaurant prices they should not serve cafeteria grade food. Whoever made the menu should have put as much effort into it as they did for the...

Read moreWe found this place by googling "restaurants near me" and we are so glad!!! Absolutely loved everything about it and the people are so nice. We ordered the Bacon Jammer burger with onion rings. My husband and always split meals as not to waste food and money. My husband told our server we were going to split the meal. When he served our burger and onion rings, they had cut the burger in half, placed it on a separate place along with half of the onion rings. We have never had ANY place to do that for us. Usually the most they will do is bring an extra plate and some times they don't even do that.
The burger was GREAT! I'm usually not a fan of smashed burgers because they are usually hard and dry but this one was neither one. It was juicy and cooked just right. The onion rights are the best I have since my grandfather closed his cafe over 40 years ago. They have very interesting burgers that we want to try next. They have a burger challenge that you can read about on Facebook.
They do have outside seating but it was closed for the winter. We can't wait to go back and sit in there courtyard.
We definitely recommend this restaurant and most definitely will go back the first...
