all I can say is....amazing experience. despite the fact that my flight was cancelled because of 3 cm of snow in Luxembourg (no surprise) I really enjoyed the stay here. You might thing the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, yes it is, but when you get to the bar....you just forget all the hassles. I got lucky because Sarah and Katarina had the shift tonight and they were extremely nice, helpful and even when they closed the bar 1 hour earlier (sorry ladies I had to :) ) it was just nice evening with other people from the cancelled flight around. So what I'm trying to say here....if your flight from FRA gets ever cancelled for whatever reason, do not accept anything else but Comfort Hotel and as soon as you check-in go straight to the WasserCraftWerk bar....and if you lucky, Sarah and Katarina will be there. thank you ladies, it was a pleasure. M from Lux p.s. last but not least...if you really want to make your stay unforgettable....ask for a croissant with Nutella and glass of Rioja....amazing...
Read moreYou are a.captive audience as a hotel guest because it’s in an industrial park with no other restaurants anywhere close. Still, our burgers and beers were really good, just overpriced a bit. Service was as confusing to us as it was to restaurant.staff, with people seemingly not sure what to do, not very friendly (at least to us as English only speakers), and utterly baffled as they.collectively tried to fix a problem where they presented a customer with our bill instead of theirs, charged his card, then couldn’t figure out how to credit and recharge him for the correct ticket, with the endless delay leading us to strike a deal to pay him our extra charges in cash and then pay his bill as he did ours. It was not a pleasant end to either our meal or our last night in Europe, and I probably wouldn’t book this hotel again if I planned to eat during our stay knowing that there’s no choice other than hiking to the...
Read moreI will give it the one star that I have to because the chicken burgers were actually good. Other than that this restaurant was a complete rip-off and the service was not good. I ordered the veal schnitzel with the tomatoes and cheese and it was incredibly bland. The waitress did not ask if we wanted dipping sauce for the croquettes and they were definitely in need of sauce. Because I did not order it at the time I ordered the meal I was not allowed to order the sauce. My child ordered a simple pasta dish which was not edible. I have honestly never seen him not eat a simple pasta with tomato sauce ever. They also do not take cash nor do they have take away boxes. For two chicken burgers, a kid's pasta, and the veil schnitzel the bill is over $110 euros. Not worth it and if you're at the hotel I recommend eating elsewhere or sticking to the chicken burgers and beer if you...
