Gasthaus zur Fantasie — Restaurant in Kemnath (VGem)

My perspective is from someone born and raised in the States. I also come from Latin origin, so my taste is accustomed to lots of seasonings. I'll start off with I have been to this establishment 3 times. Out of the three, I have tried schnitzel,fish, and duck. The food has always come out hot and in a timely manner. The owner and his staff have been quite hospitable and very willing to speak English with you. Food does tend to be a tad on the underseasoned side, but there is an effort to plate well. This is a well established restaurant in the community and is often busy. That being said,if you are a foreigner, don't expect much interaction. Would be nice if they had more beer on tap but this is an overall solid choice for German...

Very friendly personnel, Traditional German Menu, served with a smile. Really worth coming here again. I ordered Schnitzel and Cordonblau with Fries gor a big family gathering. The owners gave me everything that was needed to keep everything warm and Serve in a Catering professionell style, with no extra Charge. The food was soooooo delicious!!! Definitly coming back to Fantasie, and i can recommend Fantasie to everyone !!!!...

Wir bedauern sehr, dass wir Ihren Erwartungen anscheinend nicht entsprechen konnten. Jedoch ist es sehr schade, dass wir Ihre Kritikpunkte nicht direkt besprechen konnten, sondern dies auf diese recht unpersönliche Art und Weise erfahren.
