I had the pleasure of dining at Pizzeria Da Gino for lunch with my daughter, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Despite not having a reservation, we were seated right away with no wait time, which was a pleasant surprise.

The staff was incredibly attentive and gracious, making us feel welcome and ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Their warmth and professionalism truly stood out.

As for the food—absolutely outstanding! We started with appetizers, enjoyed refreshing drinks, and each had an entrée, all of which were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The quality of the food was exceptional and well worth the price. Speaking of which, we spent about $23 to $25 per person, which felt very reasonable given the overall experience.

An added bonus is that they offer menus in English, which was very helpful and made ordering effortless.

🇬🇧 The food was honestly terrible. We ordered pizza, risotto, and pasta. The pizza didn’t taste anything like real Italian pizza. The risotto was a disaster!! who on earth makes seafood risotto with basmati rice?! It was way too salty and even had fake shrimp in it. For the pasta, we asked for gorgonzola pasta, but they brought us seafood pasta instead, and it was also super salty. We couldn’t even swallow the food, so we ordered cola, but it came flat, no gas at all, just like sugar water. On top of that, there were flies everywhere landing on the food. Honestly, it was a really bad experience.

🇩🇪 Das Essen war echt schrecklich. Wir haben Pizza, Risotto und Pasta bestellt. Die Pizza hatte überhaupt nichts mit einer italienischen Pizza zu tun. Das Risotto war eine Katastrophe ! wer macht bitte ein Risotto mit Basmati Reis?! Es war total versalzen und da waren sogar künstliche Garnelen drin. Bei der Pasta wollten wir Gorgonzola-Pasta, bekommen haben wir aber eine Meeresfrüchte-Pasta – und die war auch extrem salzig. Man konnte es kaum essen. Also haben wir Cola bestellt, aber die war komplett schal, ohne Kohlensäure, schmeckte einfach nur nach Zuckerwasser. Dazu kamen ständig Fliegen, die sich auf das Essen gesetzt haben. Insgesamt echt eine richtig schlechte Erfahrung.

Das Essen ist an und für sich gut und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis hat immer gepasst. Allerdings gab es bei zwei von zwei Besuchen vor Ort massive Mängel beim Service. Ersten fasst man das Glas nicht oben an beim servieren. Zweitens Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte kamen beide Male zum einen nach quälenden 90min. Außerdem hatte ich jedes mal das Glück nochmal rund 10 bis 15min länger zuwarten. Wodurch meine Begleiterin natürlich schon fertig war. In Sachen Lieferdienst war bisher eigentlich alles gut. Allerdings ist es schwer jemanden zu erreichen zum einen und zum anderen wartet man auch hier grundsätzlich eine Stunde bis 90min. Gestern allerdings muss irgendwas richtig schief gelaufen sein. Ich habe über eine Stunde versucht jemanden zu erreichen. Wenn dann mal nicht besetzt war, klingelte es ewig bis man aus der Leitung flog. Die letzten beiden Versuche endeten damit das ich weggedrückt wurde. Davon Abgesehen sind die Preise auch sehr gestiegen. Alles in allem sehe ich es nicht ein jemanden mein Geld aufzuzwingen.
