You have to admit that the restaurant in this traditional old house with its rustic and elegant design got atmospere. Sadly this is overshadowed by this kind of affected behaviour the staff showed all the time. Which was almost annoying. We arrived on time for our reservation and had been overlooked for quite a while. When they finally greeted us we were told that we had to wait. Our table was not ready because the guests before us arrived late as well. Outrageous and absolutely unprofessional! We were on time and had been only overlooked by all the trepassing staff! After some time we were led to their balcony and offered something to drink with excuses for the delay. I only wanted some water what was my luck because the sparkling wine one of us got was later on the bill and pretty expensive as well! The food was ok. Nothing overly good! My vegetarian dish was around €19. The mains with meat were all starting at € 30. Considering taste and quantity I have to say that it is quite overpriced! Ich war jetzt schon einige Jahre nicht mehr hier. Es hat sich einiges geändert. Ich finde es gut das ein Wandel angestrebt wird. Nur leider habe ich das Gefühl das die Identität verloren gegangen ist. Wir haben / viel Tradition vs. Wir sind neu und Hip.

Das spiegelt sich beim Essen deutlich nieder.

Ich hatte die Ente die wie ich finde jeden Euro wert war. Meinen Frau hatte den Rahm Rostbraten. Das war ein sehr kleines trauriges Stück Fleisch für den Preis.

Mit einer eigenen Landmetzgerei erwartet man da, was komplett anderes. Zumal man das auch anders kennt, zumindest von früher.

Haare in der Vorspeise kann ja mal passieren....sollte aber nicht. Bedinung hat sich entschuldigt. Mehr aber auch nicht.

Ich möchte ausdrücklich darauf hinweisen das sich jeder selber sein Bild machen soll.

Ich hoffe das das Team die Symbiose zwischen Moderne und Tradition noch besser hin bekommt und dann vielleicht auch noch etwas an der Zusammenstellung der Karte arbeitet. Die Weinkarte ist davon ausgenommen weil es...
