I stayed one night in February 2018, online reservation was great and quick, efficient, basically you get what you pay for. ||I came on Sunday evening (9pm) by car, great parking place and easily to be found in the city, directly on the main road, very close to highway 3, connection towards Frankfurt or Passau are wonderful, no wasted time on side roads, I used navigation though.||One of the employees checked me in, show me the room (rooms are in the house across the street) and everything is easy and quick. There was no place to eat as Kleinostheim doesnt offer that much on Sunday night, so if you come in crazy times as I did, be sure you have something to eat with you. ||Room was super clean, you can adjust heating as you want (I did!) and there is even a radio in bathroom (dont be scared if you go to bathroom in the night and somebody starts to talk there!!), bathroom is great and clean, they provide all the towels and toiletries as well. Bed and pillow a bit soft, but I personally did not mind. ||When I asked for breakfast, as it was off season, they started at 8,on the webpage and within email send via booking site, was mentioned 7am, that was still OK, 8 was for me too late as I had to drive so I skipped it. ||Place is great - though I did not leave happy - due to couple who came back around midnight in the room very next to me, slammed the doors and then made love for 90 minutes. If I dont wake up next morning, I would maybe admire their stamina... now it was totally annoying and horrible to sleep - that was impossible. So yes, be prepared that you will hear everything if there is somebody like this next to you. ||Otherwise - nice and clean place, wish I can explore area of Spessart more - this could be nice starting point (if everybody...

Read moreThe hotel is situated just off the main Autobahn leading to southern Bavaria. It was very easy to find and has parking facilities at the rear next to a garden restaurant. There was a barbeque being served so we were under the impression that food was on offer. ||We arrived on a Sunday and were greeted by a gentleman who had our room key ready and was shown the room which was large modern and spotlessly clean. It overlooked the garden restaurant and we went to see if we could get food. ||We heard noise coming from the restauant, the indoor one and looked in to a large table full of people. A lady came out and asked if she could help and we asked for lunch only to be told they were closed on a Sunday. We were left wondering how we were going to eat for the rest of the day. The lady did tell us there was a local restaurant along the street or if we preferred, a biergarten down by the river. We decided on the latter and had an enjoyable walk to the river about 100 yards from the hotel. The river turned out to be the Mainz river which was very peaceful and offered a nice setting for the biergarten.||We were disappointed due to the circumstances and it was unfortunate we could not judge the ambience of the hotel. ||Breakfast next morning was served as the usual European style with a choice of cereal dairy cold meats and local bread with plenty coffee or tea on offer. ||It is difficult to really judge this hotel due to its facilities being closed on a Sunday, but due to its situation it may be worth further exploration at another time. Perhaps if they have Sunday as a family day as we were told they should advertise this on the...
