We came after hiking up the mountain for lunch. The beer was good, they still offer a full Maß (which I think you don’t find everywhere anymore)!

We had the vegan lentil soup (so cool they had vegan options!) and the Kaiserschmarren. Both were extremely delicious and the portions were huge, probably enough to fill three people (or two starved hikers) 😂

It’s a place you want to go back to, of course it’s not a crazy downtown restaurant, but the food was actually good and we’d like to try some other things from the menu! Plus more...

After hiking up for two hours this place looked like a heaven. They have a self-service system so you queue up, order at the cashier, then wait for the dishes to come out and bring it to your table. I had Wiener schnitzel. The volume was quite generous and it was absolutely delicious. The chips also tasted very fresh.
