Kimono Konz — Restaurant in Konz

I’ve stopped for dinner here a few times and never left a review before .

Nice place in Konz that serves up some good sushi and Asian fusion dishes . I’ve tried their sushi in other visits before , but tonight I wanted something warm to eat .

Chose the spring rolls for a starter : they are certainly filling and dense . Not the typical airy spring roll , these do include noodles on the inside . Something different .

Main dish was noodles with beef . Nice easy going dish , good balance of flavors and portion sizes are generous . Spice is a Mayer of preference, and i recognize that not all regions like spicy food . Ask your server for chili sauce or sriracha if you enjoy that . Menu offers udon noodle dishes as well : I have had those before and they are equally as good more thick than egg noodles .

Finally I always have joy their homemade lemonades with ginger and mint . Good ratio of ginger adding the extra kick needed .

Service is fast and very friendly and communicative. Will be back again for sure next time...

Most definitely one of the best restaurants in Konz offering a very tasty and healthy variation of South Asian dishes. As a wannabe vegetarian I was blown away by their main dish "Green Garden Tofu" in particular but alle other dishes we tried were equally good with the exception that I do not really appreciate their chicken breast as this seems to be rather formed meat than naturally grown. Rather a little less meat but then natural. Btw. you need to try their teas which are pure health. All in all I personally give a 4.6 taking the good service, the friendly people and the atmosphere into account. And as Arnold would say:...

Ich wollte heute dieses neue "Asian Fusion Kitchen" Restaurant in Konz testen und wurde mehr als überrascht, und zwar im positiven Sinn. Ich schreibe ganz selten Restaurant Bewertungen, hier bleibt mir allerdings nichts anderes übrig, da es mich wirklich mehr als überzeugt hat.

Ich war gegen 18h dort und bestellte mir dann die Nummer 5, 22 und 28. Wartezeit war etwa 20 Minuten, was absolut super ist. Das Restaurant war allerdings auch noch nicht voll.

Zu den einzelnen Gerichten:

Als Vorspeise hatte ich die Springrolls (5). Geschmacklich verdammt lecker, Portionsgröße mehr als ausreichen und dementsprechend Preis-Leistungs-Verhältniss absolut super.

Danach versuchte ich mich an der Suppe Pho Bo mit Rindfleischscheiben (22). Ich dachte das der Preis doch recht hoch ist aber ich wurde eines besseren belehrt. Geschmacklich auch hier verdammt lecker und die Portion sehr üppig. Auch hier stimmt das Preis-Leistungs Verhältniss absolut.

Als Hauptspeise wagte ich mich dann an Bun Bo Nam Bo (28). Auch hier kann ich absolut nur schwärmen. Geschmacklich perfekt und Preis-Leistung auch absolut stimmig.

Als Fazit:

Es war das erste Mal dass ich hier bestellt habe und es wird zu 100% nicht das letzte Mal sein, soviel steht fest. Auch vor Ort sieht es sehr gemütlich aus, Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Hier stimmt einfach das Gesamtkonzept. Eine riesige Bereicherung für Konz und umliegende Orte. Ein besseres viatnamesisches Restaurant kenne ich in dieser nahen Umgebung nicht.
