OY'S Thai Imbiss Zum Winter Lindau — Restaurant in Lindau (Bodensee)

This is NOT a Thai restaurant / Imbiss. This is a speakeasy pub for local Connaisseurs of the alcoholic beverage with slot machines. They will order the food from somewhere else and get it delivered to you. It’s absolutely Europeanised Thai cuisine with fennel!!! and cauliflower in the Pad Krapau (abomination). The food was still tasty though and the waitress was friendly. It was so underwhelming that I didn’t even take pictures. 😅 Wouldn’t do it again...

Am 25.12. über die hauseigene Homepage Essen für einen befreundeten Rentner bestellt, damit er nach dem Tod seiner Frau nicht nur Brot und Käse zum Mittag hat. Lokal war dort als "offen" deklariert. Dann um 12 Uhr hingefahren um das Essen zu holen. Erst einmal erschrocken, was das für eine "Spelunke" ist. Um 12 Uhr sass an nahezu jedem Tisch ein böse dreinschauender Typ mit mind. einem Bier vor sich. Die Dame, welche sich "Besitzerin" nannte teilte mir sehr schroff mit, dass Thai nicht geöffnet sei. Als ich ihr meine Bestellung zeigte wurde sie noch unfreundlicher. Die Bestellung war bereits bezahlt - so bat ich sie um Rückzahlung. Dies wurde ebenso schroff verneint. So durfte ich dann am 25.12. (!) kurzfristig noch improvisieren - und das in Lindau wo alles zu hatte. Geld wurde noch am selben Tag erstattet. Hätte ich vorher gewusst, wie es dort aussieht hätte ich niemals...
