One of my absolute favorite breweries in the Bamberg surroundings. I've had quite a few great meals here and their full assortment of beers are more than up to the task of matching the fine food. Have mostly been here in colder months so roasts and bock beers formed my initial impressions but got there last summer and finally got to enjoy their nice atmospheric Biergarten. Loved this gem of a restaurant. Decided to stop over for a quick lunch. Was definately worth the stop. We had a great fresh carp fillet with potato salad and salad. This is highly recommended. The Atmosphere was rustic bavarian style, and surprisingly busy at that time of day. It would be advisable to call and make a booking when coming there on the weekend. Ich kann diesen Ort absolut nicht empfehlen. Auf meiner Biketour an einem Sonntag mache ich gegen 14:15 Uhr Stopp bei der Brauereigaststätte. Ich stehe also im Hof und schaue mich nach einem Platz im bewirtschafteten Hof um, als mich plötzlich eine Servicekraft anblafft, ob ich jetzt erst komme und es gibt sowieso ab 15 Uhr nix mehr zu essen. Es war, nochmal zur Erinnerung: gerade einmal 14:15 Uhr, also eine dreiviertel Stunde vor Küchenschluss. Ich habe diesen ungastlichen Ort unmittelbar darauf verlassen, um einige Ortschaften weiter freundlicher begrüßt worden zu sein. Zwei Dinge nehme ich mit: Nie wieder werde ich einen Stopp beim Knoblach einlegen, selbst wenn es die einzige Gaststätte ist, die im Umkreis von 50 km geöffnet sein sollte, noch werde ich den Ort weiter empfehlen. Wenn man keine Gäste will, dann soll man doch einfach was anderes machen....
