The place is very beautiful, located in front of the Lake Losheim, It's a pleasant environment. My brother took me so I could try Spätzle and the beef medallion. Unfortunately, both dishes were removed from the menu. As we don't eat pork, there were few options left. We ordered Flammkuchen and Salmon. While we waited, I ordered a homemade beer. There weren't many options either. I ordered "helle". What a disappointment! Watery beer, without personality, without taste. I wouldn't take it again. I decided to test the "Dunkel". It looked like a Stout poorly done. The food arrived and it was a satisfying surprise: I loved the Flammkuchen and the Salmon with Hollandaise sauce was delicious. I believe they could add dishes with chicken, turkey or beef. The local chef cooks very well, it would be nice to have more variety of meats. And some craft IPA beer.

The food used to be great in this place but they now have cut down the menu so no chicken and no beef any longer. Also no späzle (which was amazing)... What a disappoint it was today. The beer has a dirt yellowish color and it is too sweet to my taste, the dunkel beer it is a stout but not even close to Guinness. This restaurant went from my preferred restaurant in Germany to the last place I want to invite my friends or refer them to (like I used to do a lot). If you are a pork eater then you'll find 5 options for your schnitzel in the menu, same for Flammkuchen... Good luck with that.

Really beautiful brewery! The inside is very impressive with high ceilings in wood with large beams. In the center of the room there are very large copper tanks and lots of open space. The beer selection is not big, they had a helles (lager), dunkel (dark), weizen (wheat), and a rotating saison beer. Prices very reasonable 3.50€ for 0.5L. They also have a beautiful rustic patio with benches with a view of the lake. I had the helles and it was very nice with some sweet notes to it and some hops. Would definitely recommend it after a walk around the lake which takes an hour!

Also einfach hingefahren. Mittlerweile waren Bekannte an unseren Tisch dazugestoßen. Absolut untragbar. Wenn 0 Sterne möglich wären hätte es...

As a visitor to the area I expected a Beer Hall, Brauhaus, to serve good beer and decent but quick food. What a disappointment this place was. It is not dog friendly as you have to go round the back in the shabby beer garden surrounded by builders fencing. There are no views of the lake here. The server, who was very cold and unfriendly brought the menus which were a bit posh and pricy for a Brauhaus and did not have anything we really wanted. She took our orders for a small beer and a large Coke. She brought the drinks out fairly quickly and asked if we wanted to order food which we didn't, coldly gave us the bill and we paid over 8 euros for them. She promptly left. The small beer was indeed small. The Coke was brought with no ice, certainly no slice and absolutely zero bubbles. It was totally flat (a bit like the service). When we saw the server again and complained we got an insincere sorry and shown out of the beer garden via the builders fencing as if we were something to be hidden away from the rest of the customers. Absolutely shameful service and I regret even stepping foot...
