Café Trotzdem was my favorite place when i was studying in Hochschule and i loved their Hahnchen Brust in Sahne Sauce Most importantly there friendly attitude towards customers

After renovation it looks more kooler and attractive but i am forced to give 3 rating bcz of rude and arrogant attitude of two waitresses working on the terrace. They made us feel uncomfortable, and was annoyed when they had to repeat a question and most importantly scolding kids not to walk around the table.

I must say i met the owner and staff downstairs, they were very friendly and cooperative.

Food was still good, but not...

I can really advise to eat and drink here! Compared to traditional restaurants it is more relaxed and cozy. Somewhere you go with your friends and have fun and eat and drink.

The food is really good. All the times I visited Trotzdem, it has been a very good and fresh. The staff is nice and friendly. Prices are honest.

The bill is on the edge of the table so you can already have a look that you pay what you ordered.

If you are near...and you like to try something really different... you just have to try it. And if you are a difficult eater..they have German dishes...

Das Café Trotzdem in Mönchengladbach ist ein wahrer Genuss für die Sinne. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen ist lediglich die fehlende Möglichkeit zur Kartenzahlung, was in der heutigen Zeit etwas unpraktisch ist. Daher ein Stern Abzug in der Gesamtbewertung.

Alles in allem ist das Café Trotzdem in Mönchengladbach ein Ort, den man unbedingt besuchen sollte.
