Chefs love "peasant food." That's to say, simple food that only peasants access. In the good ol' days, only rich people could afford imported food, and the peasantry were stuck with that which grew locally and in season. Later, when the peasants lived and the rich died of imported food, the tables turned. Now, the rich pay through the nose for local organic seasonal food, and the peasants are stuck with trans fat laden imported processed death foods. Here, you can see the herrings jump head first into the kitchen, where the chef does his magic, either cured or fried, adds local spuds and home grown cured cucumber, for you to pretend you're a subsistence farmer in 1880. Very delicious food and fantastic atmosphere! You can sit by the seaside and enjoy this amazing view. The food is extremely good too. Especially the baked camambert with berry sauce and perfectly cooked chicken breast with hollandaise sauce are so good positions,highly recommend to try them. In general service is also really nice and welcoming so definitely this nice and cozy place...
