Mikado — Restaurant in Meerbusch

Very bad smell while entering the restaurant. It seems owner saving electricity and not using any ventilation. We decided, as for a change, to visit this restaurant due to the good reviews. Unfortunately we found the contrary. Choose from the frozen sea food for the grill and gave our plates at grill bar. I got my plate within 15 minutes. After another 15 minutes I asked the friendly man for my wife's plate. He said "all plates when ready we serve immidiately". After another 10 minutes I asked again and got the same reply but within 2 minutes the plate was served with cold grilled fish!!! The cheap frozen desert is another issue. Not...

1 star is even too much for this place. There where flies on the buffet and the food was completely dried out. When we told the staff we where unhappy about the quality and the bad hygiene, they threatened to call the police on us. Very customer unfriendly. Never again!

Wir waren schon oft hier essen - immer wieder gerne! Sehr freundlich, aufmerksam, große Auswahl, sehr lecker, alles TOP! Wir fühlen uns hier sehr wohl. 1.6.2020: super das Ihr wieder geöffnet habt und das neue Konzept ist toll! Einfach auf der Karte die gewünschten Gerichte ankreuzen und dann werden sie zum Tisch gebracht, und dann noch so nett angerichtet. Klasse! 7.6.2020 das neue Konzept hatte uns so überzeugt, das wir mal wieder im Mikado waren. Und wir sind wieder so begeistern vom freundlichen Service und den köstlichen Speisen! Die Garnelen Gong Bao, Ebi Fry, Algensalat, alles ist ein echter Genuss! Bitte haltet durch, in dieser schweren Zeit.... 22.6.2020 das schöne Wetter haben wir genutzt, um uns auf der schönen Terrasse zu entspannen und uns mit gutem Essen verwöhnen zu lassen. Mit dem derzeitigen Konzept "Buffet von Karte" können wir gut leben, es ist bequem und alles wird hübsch angerichtet am Tisch serviert! Und so köstlich! Wer das Mikado noch nicht kennt: Der Besuch lohnt sich, es ist eine echte Alternative zu anderen "China-Restaurants", mit super freundlichem Service, auch Sonderwünsche werden gerne erfüllt, gute Auswahl und alles in guter Qualität, frisch, krackig, aromatisch, köstlich! 13.9.2020 - inzwischen ist das Buffet wieder geöffnet und das Hygeinekonzept sehr gut umgesetzt. Es gibt mehrere Desinfektionsspender, Masken und Abstand ist kein echtes Hindernis um das Mikado zu genießen.
