🥰 This has easily become my favourite Korean restaurant in the city!!
The highlights were:
Tteokbokki: 8/10. The fishcakes and rice cakes were cooked well and the flavour of the sauce was great
Korean fried chicken in sweet and spicy sauce: (9/10) the chicken was delightfully crispy and the sauce was slightly sweet, sticky and spicy - just the way it should be! This was my second favourite dish of the night.
Korean fried chicken in sojasoße: (8/10) the chicken was equally good and this is a good option if you don't like spicy food. The sauce was on the thinner side and I preferred the flavour less. I would pick the sweet and spicy sauce over this one.
Kimchi jiggae: (7.5/10) warm, comforting and light. Tasted very nice paired with the rice.
Pork shoulder in chilli soße: (9.5/10) this was the highlight of the night! The pork came sizzling on a plate and accompanied with leaves that were used to wrap and consume it. The pork was spicy, a little sweet, and tender. Really complex and layered flavours.
Other honorable mentions were the kimchi jeon and the yuzu elder spritz.
The service was great and the wait staff were friendly! The space is really big so it does not feel too crowded and it wasn't too noisy on...

We arrived the restaurant around 13.25, and received food around 13.50.
And then someone, who was not our server, came to us and asked to "eat and finish the food faster" due to their break starting at 15. It was around 14.40. The tone she spoke was not apologetic at all. It was rather building pressure on us to leave as soon as possible.
I mean, I understood the reason. However, it could have been nicer if they informed us "We have break at 15, so you have to finish your meal by 14.45 at the latest" when we were ordering or receiving the food at the latest. Then we could have kept that in mind instead of feeling being kicked out.
In the end we left the restaurant because our mood was ruined and there was just awkward silence between my friend and me. It felt that we were kicked out although we paid +70€ for the meal - I am mentioning this to clarify it is not an Imbiss that we grab food in 10mins.
I had been recommending this restaurant to everyone whoever asked me for a food recommendation in München, but I am now not sure if I would continue recommending the place or visit there again... Hopefully the way informing customers about the break would...
Read moreI was pleasantly surprised to have discovered this place by chance. Before that it was a greek restaurant as far as I remember. Located at the edge of the city, it is a ride out but definitely worth it. I highly recommend to make a reservation during dinner time, it was crowded till about 8PM. First of all they can really pride themselves to be a full-Korean chef and service team and the place is indeed Korean owned. Once you enter you get greeted in a loud and welcoming voice. The team is young and polite, they give alot of privacy (don't ask your order for seconds or more drinks), the food is quick. The food is very authentic, has the right texture and just tastes how you expect it to be! - let me break it down for you. 반찬 - for us it was semi-dried fish cakes, noodle salad and some pickled cabbage plus Kimchi. 양념치킨 - thinly and crispy fried chicken with just enough sauce to coat the chicken, even when cooled down still crispy 목살 - tender and fresh, served on a hot plate 냉면 - tangy soup where you taste the bone broth and the noodles are perfectly chewy
The tables had the table grills, but weren't used. I'm expecting that Korean BBQ would be possible some time in the future and am looking...
