Kistenpfennig Bakery — Restaurant in Munich

I always love the croissants here. They are fresh and very yummy. But I don’t really understand why the coffee here is with so bad quality. One can check the picture I uploaded. This is exactly what I get for a cuppucino. It almost tastes like water….It is more or less the same coffee I can get from the newspaper shop and the price is almost double….The young staff here are always very friendly but the elder ladies are very arrogant most of the times. By the way, I believe I have paid 0.3 Euro extra just because I have paid with card. And there is no explanation for that.So I can only assume that is for this purpose. I also paid extra money for sitting in the bakery...

Great family-owned cake shop/bakery with tasty cakes and various homemade bread/sandwich options. Staff is very kind and speak perfect English. They also have a very welcoming terrace in a calm setting. Their toilets are impeccably clean! The place is on the way of S-bahn (S1) to the airport, just 10 metres to the Fasanerie station. So, if you are heading to the airport, just stop by there for a slice of cake and tea, chill at their terrace, then easily catch the next train to continue to the airport.
