McDonald's — Restaurant in Munich

I know McDonalds is not the kind of place you should go to if you're looking for friendly service - it's called fast food, not friendly food - but a while back this particular McDonald's took bad service to unexplored heights. I ordered some fries and asked for some of the sweet mustard sauce you can get with your nuggets. I didn't do anything I would consider offensive; I ordered in German, and I speak German, I might have a bit of an accent but that has never led to any problems; I didn't suggest I wasn't planning on paying for the sauce; I wasn't drunk; I came in at least an hour before closing time; I said please. However, I apparently got the name of the sauce wrong. In some countries the sauce is called honey mustard sauce, in Germany it's just mustard sauce. Fair enough, everyone's free to name their own sauces. Maybe I'm even completely wrong and the sauce is in fact called mustard sauce all over the world. I don't think it's such an unreasonable mistake. It's a very sweet sauce and although I doubt whether they in fact sweeten it with honey, honey and mustard do accompany each other an awful lot. Anyway, I got the name wrong and for some reason that made the guy who was serving me absolutely furious. "Honey mustard sauce, what are you talking about, we don't do honey mustard sauce we don't have that what is wrong with you it's called mustard sauce!" I was like, okay sure yeah, I think that's what I meant, and he proceeds to grab a cup of the (honey) mustard sauce, smashes it in front of me on the counter, and yells:"is this what you want?? is this it???" I'm just like yeah, thanks, to which he goes, "WELL THAT IS CALLED MUSTARD SAUCE!!!" I feel so uncomfortable that I start apologizing for my mistake and explaining that in some countries it's called honey mustard sauce (although at this point I'm not even sure whether that is even true BUT STILL), he then interrupts me to inform me that he doesn't care about other countries, this is Germany and here "IT'S CALLED MUSTARD SAUCE!!" When he finally gave me the sauce I crawled into the furthest corner of the restaurant and silently sobbed as I ate my fries, wishing I'd just gone for ketchup like a normal person. Dear McDonalds, if I promise - pinky swear! - that from now on I will get the names of your products right before I order, would you maybe consider to hire...

I recently visited this McDonald's branch, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly hellos from the staff.

What struck me the most was how attentive and efficient the staff were. They were incredibly helpful and accommodating in taking my order, and made sure that everything was to my liking. Throughout my visit, I noticed that they were constantly checking on customers to ensure that they were satisfied with their meals.

Moreover, the staff at this McDonald's branch went above and beyond to make sure that everyone had a great experience. They were proactive in addressing any issues or concerns that arose, and were always willing to assist customers in any way they could.

Overall, I was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff at this McDonald's branch. It was evident that they take pride in their work and genuinely care about providing top-notch service to their customers.

I have had multiple experiences with this particular McDonald’s and it seems to me that the owner of the franchise is trying to cut costs! The workers cut a lot of corners. I always order the same thing from McDonald’s, a wrap without onions and every single time I made that order in this particular restaurant for take away, I later find out that my wrap is just moshed inside, sauce and veggies everywhere in the cardboard wrapping making it frankly unholdable and completely unappetising. Didn’t have such a problem when ordering from other McDonald’s restaurants or when ordering a standard wrap! The cook I imagine takes an already pre-made one, unfolds it, takes the onions out and tries to put it back as best as possible back into the cardboard wrapping leading to an abomination not to mention the missing items that were ordered, wrong sauces and so on!
