This is the perfect place if you are in need of something better than just a hotel room.and the necessity for preparing your own meals. A supermarket and bakery offers all you might require for a longer stay.and it is close to public transport (tram and busses)..
BRERA offers spacious rooms with kitchenette. If you are lucky to get a room to the yard, these are really quiet and great in the summer, as not too hot (no A/C!) with a nice view to the Munich Olympia Tower. The mattresses were very comfortable! and all size rooms nice, although one can see that BRERA has already received quite a few visitors over the years. -During my stay there was a process of kitchenette replacement going on (so I saw several).
The rooms on the first floor offer a quiet balcony, separated by plants for each apartment there: however, it is accessible to all guests in the house, and if you are someone who likes fresh air at night and prefers to sleep with open windows and are concerned about security then go for an option on the 2nd or 3rd floor. If other guests smoke on the balcony (and it happened quite a lot), it might molest you, if you are in the rooms above and leave your windows open.
The best about this quaint business apartment hotel is @ the concierge: Max, the most friendly, positive and cheerful station manager I have ever met! He offers excellent advice and tries to accommodate you wherever possible during regular business hours.

Read moreI stayed at Brera Munich Schwabing for 6 months from Mar - Aug 2024. The apartments are clean and kept to a great standard. There were further improvements recently with the renovation of the kitchenettes. The extractor fan and ventilation is also good and keeps the living space comfortable. The supermarket and bakery downstairs are an added bonus. The location is wonderful and has great connections with bus, tram stops and the Olympiapark close by.
For such a long stay, I was provided with clean bedding, towels and a weekly cleaning service. This was all to a great standard and if I needed anything further, the manager Max always ensured I received a great service in good time. There were no issues with the bathroom facilities and cleanliness during the stay.
The communal areas including the seats near the reception, laundry and garbage rooms are always kept clean and tidy. I also felt safe in all areas which were secured for the use of Brera residents only. On the occasions when I received mail, this was sorted and passed on to me in good time.
Overall, I was very impressed by the running of the apartments. It was a comfortable stay and a wonderful home away from home. Read moreWe had a very disappointing and stressful experience during my recent stay at Brera Serviced Apartments, Petra-Kelly-Straße, Munich.
On 15 August 2025, after checking out at 8:00 a.m., I left my four suitcases in the reception area, as advised ( unmanned but can be trusted ). When I returned at 3:00 p.m., one suitcase was missing. This was a Samsonite strolley bag containing carrying items of great sentimental value along with monetry value.
What shocked me most was:
The reception area is CCTV monitored and accessible only to guests and staff.
Despite this, the management said they had not seen anyone take the suitcase out and offered no real support.
I was left to deal with the situation alone, with a flight back to the UK the same evening.
Losing valuable items is painful enough, but the lack of accountability, transparency, and assistance from Brera Apartments made the situation much worse. Guests trust reception areas as safe storage after checkout — that trust was broken.
I cannot recommend Brera Serviced Apartments based on this experience. At the very least, I hope management improves security, reviews CCTV footage properly, and provides genuine support to guests in...
