Restaurant Barka — Restaurant in Munich

Well, it was ok. I like the interior in yellow and türkis colors, seasonal Christmas decorations were also decent and right on time. The Personal is very friendly, hospitable and funny. However the portion of zucchini/eggplants with tzatziki for 7,5 EUR I appreciated also as a joke. No final dessert included. I have ordered one with chocolate, it was good. There were a birthday of one of the visitors. The restaurant organised a short twilight, brought a small piece of cake with a candle and the whole restaurant sang Happy Birthday. Was nice from them. I would advise to book a restaurant in advance. In the evening it could be enough...

Only 4 stars because it is not a perfect location for an larger event.

The food is good and reasonably priced, and it got crowded around dinner time - that’s always a good sign and it means the food is good. Just don’t expect fresh sea food - we are not close to the sea.

I have admit the food is not bad, we ordered house specials. The service is good, nice people that speak german, a bit of english and greek plus other balcan languages - and this brings a nice feeling.

Good location for seniors also. If you plan an event with little children you will be a bit in trouble - the space is a bit small. A big plus - parking lot...

Food was great. We dont speak German, but the waiter did. They did not have the menu in English, so the waiter read it to us and made suggestions. I chose the combo plate just to try a little of several meats. I could not eat it all---and it was delicious. My wife had the Moussaka, and eggplant, potato based lasagna type dish. She ate every bite. Both plates came with bread and a side salad. The food was good, but the helpful, friendly waiter made the evening for us, since we could not order...
