Restaurant Irodion Sendling — Restaurant in Munich

This is the first time I write a restaurant review but as we were humiliated by the server, it deserves one. We went to the restaurant today. The server was very rude and impolite to our wives for unknown reasons. He was serving German speaking customers but ignoring non German speaking ones. This is the worst service I had in my life and I heard similar comments from other customers I met at the hotel we stayed nearby.we felt humiliated. We asked for English menus and the server said they did not have any and we know he has them! Our wives that arrived 30 minutes before us asked for Halumi cheese and he never brought the food. I thought that after 2 years of covid, the restaurant owner would be happy to see foreigners. I don’t know why he behaved like this as we are polite and good customers. If you want a good restaurant, go to the Italian restaurant next to the mercure hôtel. Antonio, the owner, knows how to treat customers and the food is delicious. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I came here for dinner on Saturday. Due to our limited German skills, the waiter asked another waiter (who also appeared to be the bartender) to take our order in English when we had a question about the menu. There was a problem with our drinks when they were brought to the table. A kind and understanding waitress tried to help us resolve the issue with her colleague but the waiter who took the order was clearly annoyed and argued with me instead of admitting he made a mistake. They took the drink off the bill but did not offer a replacement so I ate my meal with nothing.

Overall the service was slow and the food was fine. I enjoy supporting local businesses but unfortunately I will not return to Restaurant Irodion after this...

Irodion is situated at the end of our road so we come here fairly regularly and are never disappointed! The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable.
