We were very close to the German border and wanted to go to a place where we could have real schnitzel. Well, we found it! Plenty of free parking nearby, easy to find, and a nice-looking building. Walking in was like going back in time! The decor probably not changed in decades added to the experience. The atmosphere was a bit still, not music or chatter, quite quiet. Between the two of us we maybe speak 5 words of German but we managed to order what we wanted. The beer was great. The service from the two ladies was attentive and very friendly, obviously a family run business. The food cooked was simple but delicious exactly what we were searching for. Dogs are allowed in the restaurant, which is great if you happen to have your four legged friend with you. The price was very reasonable but be aware you need to pay in cash... the ATM is across the road.

Eines der wenigen noch übrig gebliebenen traditionellen Gaststätten. Die Küche ist top und gut bürgerlich. Die Bedienung und die Inhaber sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir gehen hier immer wieder gerne hin.

Echt een heel leuk restaurant dit! Echt traditioneel en klassiek met een niet te grote kaart en met mensen die heel gepassioneerd werken. Ik kom hier zeker vaker terug en ik raad iedereen dit restaurant aan.
