La Cittadella — Restaurant in Niedernhausen

We were three colleagues and got a table inside (although the outside terrace is really recommendable). Friendly italian waitor (from Sardinia) suggested dishes, very relaxed atmosphere, no ridig Corona-measure enforcement. Everything we ordered, was great, bruscetta, the liver, pasta of the day and the famous spaghetti ("im Käserad", turned in a big pie of parmesan cheese), the tiramisu and also the red wine from Sardegna. Nice people, clean restaurant, and very delicious food. They offer to go menu and speak English fairly well. The bar tender helped us for a take away order and he spoke english well. Within a 30-minute drive, this is the best Italian restaurant. Very friendly staff. Large selection. Fresh salad. One limiting factor is parking (you might have to drive down the street a bit).
