I stayed here for 3 nights. I was supposed to share my room with a friend who had checked in a couple of days before me. When I checked in they did not ask me for my passport or any contact details. The people at the reception spoke poor English, and assigned me a separate room. Not the one my friend had checked into. I agreed as the price was ok for me to check in separately. ( The rooms are basic, and the toilets are tiny.)|Two nights things were ok. The third night I came in late at 1am from a dinner and found two other people sleeping in my room. None of my things were there and there was no information of where my things were. I panicked and eventually went into the room of my friend in the same hotel. We found all my luggage had been literally dumped into her room. They opened my luggage, handled my passport, money, laptop, everything! All without my permission or knowledge. I slept in my friends room that night as they were not available to talk to at that point. Next morning when I went to speak to them about this they said they assigned me a room by 'mistake' as they had another booking and they did not realise it. Two day s later when they realised it they just threw my belongings out of my room and checked in another guest. To top it all they screamed at me and my friend saying it was our fault we didn't know!? Totally strange and unacceptable. If I had the time I...

Read moreIn late Sept., '16, wife and I stayed here to avoid Kassel's high hotel prices. We were not impressed but picked this small inn.on the outskirts and lodged there for a night anyway. It was OK, but pretty primitive. A loud wedding among locals was very noisy.||||While parking was free and our room was large, drunken fools from the wedding were very loud throughout our entire evening, right below our window in room #1. These idiots from nearby areas filled the banquet rooms and the bar. An 1100PM curfew imposed by the boss finally forced them out, and that actually worked.||||Our room #1, while large, was still primitive and right above all of the local loudmouths, Everything, incl. mattresses, pillows and bedding, was very rough and poor. Breakfast in one of the party rooms was OK, but nothing special. Dinner in the restaurant was popular among only a few, but not for my wife. Thinking herself adventurous, perhaps, she ordered a "Schweinshaxe" (a big pork shank) which I had enjoyed occasionally years before. Big mistake! Hers turned out to have been way-over-roasted, untimely-served and super-dry. So, the restaurant...
