When searching for REAL Chinese food, it is important not to miss this place. I'm a foodie of Chinese descent, and I know what I'm talking about. It is a true gem, and unbelievable it is located in this quiet neighborhood area, across a big strawberry field, and not in the heart of Hamburg. This place is like a celebrity in disguise! Ask for their original Chinese menu, not the standard westernized one. Their homemade Har Gow, Char siu Bao, and fried taro balls, are among the best you can find, outperforming those offered in the much more famous restaurants around Hamburg Central station, and could easily compete with eateries in Guangdong. Other top options include squirrel shaped fried fish, fried rice noodles with beef and my absolute favourite, salt and pepper shrimp. Pricing is fair and service very kind. Während andere China Restaurants in Norderstedt den Mittagstisch abgeschafft haben, gibt es ihn hier noch. Also bin ich mit meiner Mutter heute (07.10.2023) hierhin zum Ente-Essen-Test. Unsere Erwartungen wurden mindestens erfüllt, eigentlich aber übertroffen:

Service bestehend aus 2 Personen sehr schnell und sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Unterschiede der drei Gerichte "Krosse Ente" wurden uns erklärt, so dass wir schnell wussten was wir wollten.

Essen: "Krosse Ente" mit Vorspeise Frühlingsrolle oder Suppe zu meines Erachtens sehr günstigen Preisen, gerade in Anbetracht der hohen Qualität.

Alle Gerichte kamen heiß auf den Tisch. Alles war reichlich (wir haben es leider nicht ganz geschafft). Frühlingsrolle und Suppe haben uns bereits sehr gut gefallen. Die Ente war ein Träumchen ("Kross" war fast noch untertrieben, zartes Fleisch und vor allem schmeckte es mager und nicht einmal im Ansatz fettig). In der separaten Soße war frisches geschnittenes Gemüse verschiedener Art, welches im Biss knackig und auf den Punkt gegart war. Reis gabs natürlich auch.

Das Ambiente war für mich auch 5 Sterne. Der Gastraum rustikal eingerichtet ohne Plüsch etc. war genau mein Ding. Für diejenigen, die es lieber dem Tam Tam anderer Chinesen mögen, habe ich 1 Stern abgezogen.
