Conditorei-Café Gerlach — Restaurant in Oberstdorf

A great place to relax for a drink, a cake, and perhaps a snack. This place caters for personal preferences as to the ambience you are wanting to experience whilst consuming their great products.

The only possibly negative thing was the price. A plate of biscuit delights is somewhat eye watering, albeit, very tasty. As are the cakes, and from what I could observe, larger meals were impressive....

Die Torte und der Milchkaffee war sehr lecker - sowohl das von meiner Frau, als auch meine Auswahl... ABER - es ist schon sehr schade das in solch einem Touristenort nicht ein mindestmass an Lächeln den Kunden entgegengebracht wird... und wenn man dann bei dieser grossen Auswahl mal ne Minute braucht um sich was auszusuchen und dann schon die Genervtheit im Gesicht der Bedienung sehen kann, dann ist das nur noch zu steigern mit dem Gesichtsausdruck, wenn man nach nem Inhaltsstoff (also welcher Alkohol in der Torte ist) fragt, weil man auf manches allergisch ist... Naja Kuchen gewählt und im Gastraum Platz genommen (Jacke noch nicht ganz abgelegt), da steht schon die nächste Bedienung am Tisch "und ? Wissen Sie schon was Sie trinken möchten?!?..." echt Stress anstatt entspannt im Cafe sitzen.... Naja - beim Kassieren dann wieder etwas freundlicher, aber wäre ich auch wenn ich für 2stk. Torte und 2 Milchkaffee 18€ kassieren kann ....

Also beim nächsten Mal testen wir eins der vielen alternativen...
