Tandoor Indisches Restaurant — Restaurant in Rheine

Thank you so much. My beautiful companion and the other two came for dinner tonight at this so hidden away little gem. Only a walk away from the home we are staying is this nice simple, yet inviting Indian restaurant not far from the city. Booked a table, just in case, as the reviews already told us that this is a good place to dine. Arrived just on time to be seated. The welcome was beautiful and friendly. The touch of family feel with the little one having an early dinner after her school work was done, until mom told her it’s time to go was very encouraging, knowing that the family eats here too. Sit down, quick drink order and now the menu. Very impressive. Organised, easy to read, half English and German. A menu can tell the story, and the menu here certainly did. But when the lady came back with the drinks and could explain, recommend and even change our order slightly to make it more balanced, we somehow knew we were in for a treat. Won’t say too much about all the food we had, but considering that my beautiful companion and I do travel all around the world and enjoy (not only as a profession) food, this small restaurant in this small town has given us one of the best Indian meals we ever had. Aufgrund von vielen positiven Bewertungen und um etwas anderes zu probieren, haben wir für 4 Personen bestellt. Enttäuschend ist zu milde ausgedrückt, eher empfindet man Zorn und Wut. Geschmacklos, wässrig, fade und stark überteuert. Der Wasserhahn scheint hier der Chefkoch zu sein. Viele der anonymen 5 Sterne Bewertungen sind eher illegal und nicht echt, denn direkt nach einer negativen Beurteilung findet man mehrere anonyme 5 Sterne Bewertungen. Wir werden jedenfalls bei "Tandoor Indisches Restaurant" nie wieder etwas bestellen. Das gelieferte geschmacklose Essen war gut gerechnet 2,50€ wert und niemals 15€. Jeder richtige Inder hätte wohl eher ein schmackhafteres authentischeres Mahl zubereiten können.

Update: Leider haben wir zu der Behauptung, "Der Wasserhahn scheint hier der Chefkoch zu sein.", keine Beweise und Fotos hab ich leider auch nicht gemacht. Aber jede Person, meine Gäste an diesen Abend, welche davon essen wollten waren sehr negativ begeistert. Auf Fotos von Gästen des Restaurants Tandoor, sahen sie bestellten Speisen ansprechend aus und die Konsistenz der Sauce war deutlich eine andere. Im Gegensatz was uns geliefert wurde, hier hatte der Koch wohl einen physikalisch unmöglichen Aggregatzustand entdeckt.
