Hotel Lücke — Hotel in Rheine

We made a last minute reservation for one night at this hotel because we had to attend a meeting in Rheine that we had not known about a week earlier. We had an excellent experience. The room was small but not tiny and had everything you would need for a short stay. It even had a small fridge with room for your stuff because it was not jammed full of their stuff. The beds were good the towels were fine the staff was pleasant and helpful. There were even a couple outlets that accepted American plugs without an adaptor. I had not come across that before in a European Hotel. And most of all it was quiet. It was in a quiet neighborhood and we had a very quiet room and that's something that we value very highly. There was an elevator and there was limited off street parking that was free. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to this little town.||One minor negative that might not matter to most of you. The lights in the bathroom came on automatically when your went in. Sometimes that might be convenient. Other times like in the middle of the night you might not want to be subjected to sudden very bright lights beyond your control. But this was a very...

This hotel deserves 5 stars and even more. Been staying at different hotels but this definitely has set the bar which I believe none can meet. Rooms are fantastic, the breakfast is good but what sets it apart is the service they provide and the hotel branding. You get complimentary water, toiletries and has a mini fridge with various items. Location is fantastic near the river and the city center.

We reached late night at around 1am and Mr. Lucke himself came and gave us a good welcome, made us comfortable, Gave a good briefing about the hotel, nearby places and was patient enough to explain all our queries and he is always smiling. We never felt like an outsider. Very rare to see people with such personality.

Will highly recommend everyone who is travelling to Rheine to book this wonderful hotel and next time I visit this beautiful place, there is no second thought, Hotel Lucke is my place.

We stayed here over the last week and it’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in! It’s not a huge hotel but nothing is cramped, the rooms are really lovely, clean, super comfortable beds and tastefully decorated. The shower was brilliant. We had a view of the river which was beautiful. The toiletries provided are high quality and the food is amazing!! There was a wide selection available for breakfast, pretty much everything you could possibly wish for and absolutely delicious! The restaurant food is top notch and worthy of much higher prices than they charge! The beer garden is brilliant and the surrounding area is so peaceful, especially considering its just a short walk into town.The crowning jewel is the staff - so warm, welcoming and friendly, nothing is ever too much trouble! In particular the restaurant manager, Tena is exceptional and a true credit to the hotel! Highly recommend and looking forward...
