Vietnam Bistro — Restaurant in Rutesheim

Awesome experience, one of the first little bistros I ate at when I moved in the area. Almost forgotten about this place, it has been so long. But they do not have a place to sit, so grab and go, the only reason I gave "Atmosphere" an 1 star. but do not let that stop you! Just take out window service. I would give this place 4 stars just because they exist but the Currys were pretty good and they are not too expensive but the egg rolls were obviously from frozen so don’t get those. Lets face it, Asian food in a small town in Germany is a treat and these people do it OK. If you try to order on the phone your order could get mangled so better to just go up to the window, they are...

Das Essen ist wirklich top – keine Frage. Geschmack, Qualität überzeugen jedes Mal.

Aber: Die Öffnungszeiten entwickeln sich leider in die komplett falsche Richtung. Sonntags und Montag geschlossen. Ich finde als Bistro den Sonntag als Ruhetag zu wählen einfach nicht passend. Werktags sind oft schon ab 18:30 Uhr keine Bestellungen mehr möglich oder es heißt direkt „ausverkauft“. Für Berufstätige oder Hobbysportler ist das einfach frustrierend und sehr schade.

Was besonders auffällt: Je kürzer die Öffnungszeiten werden, desto höher steigen die Preise. Natürlich Inflation ein Thema besonders in den letzten 2 Jahren – aber hier entsteht inzwischen zunehmend der Eindruck, dass man sich bewusst dafür entscheidet, so wenig wie möglichst zu arbeiten und trotzdem mehr zu verlangen. Der Betrieb läuft offenbar gut genug, um sich das leisten zu können, aber für Stammkunden wirkt das mehr und mehr wie reine Bequemlichkeit auf Kosten des Servicegedankens.

Sehr schade – kulinarisch top, aber das Gesamtpaket passt so nicht...
