Disappointing Experience Despite Great Food.

We been loyal customer of Asia Down in Dannenberg, Germany for years, visiting every time we come to town from the States. The food has always been exceptional, which is why we make it a point to stop by whenever we are in the area. Unfortunately, our recent visit was anything but pleasant due to the shocking behavior of the employee/cook on duty.

As out-of-towners, we wanted to make sure we ordered something special and memorable, so we asked the employee for some recommendations. Instead of being helpful, he was extremely dismissive and downright rude. He made us feel like we were a burden rather than valued customers, and despite our familiarity with the restaurant, we were left feeling lost and unwelcome.

After years of dining at this establishment, we were genuinely heartbroken that the service has declined so dramatically. The food might still be great, but it’s hard to enjoy a meal when the person serving it treats you so poorly. Sadly, we had to leave without ordering because we simply couldn’t tolerate the disrespectful treatment.

It’s a shame that someone with such a terrible attitude is working at a place that we once recommended to everyone. Customer service should always be a priority, especially in a restaurant with such a longstanding reputation. We hope the management takes this issue seriously, as it’s unfortunate to see such a wonderful place lose its charm due to one person's behavior. Normalerweise sind diese Parkplatz Asia-Restaurants nicht gerade besonders toll. Auch die Asia-Schnellrestaurants in Einkaufszentren finde ich meistens ziemlich langweilig. So war ich wenig begeistert als meine Frau vorschlug hier doch etwas mit zu nehmen für zu Hause. Das änderte sich aber dann beim essen. Es handelt sich um ein Thai Gericht das nicht nur aus Reis und Glutamat bestand sondern aus frischem Gemüse und gut zubereitem Hühnerfleisch in einer pikanten Erdnusssoße. Nicht alle Gerichte sind gleich gut. Ich persönlich mag am liebsten die mit Kokosmilch und Thaicurry. Das Geschäft ist sauber. Die dort Arbeitenden haben mehrfach gewechselt, da man sich scheinbar hocharbeiten kann und dann an besseren Standorten unterkommt. Damit möchte ich sagen, dass das Personal nicht unfreundlich ist, sondern manchmal des Deutschen noch nicht in all seinen Feinheiten mächtig. Der Qualität des Essens tut das keinen Abbruch.
