Fischunkelalm — Restaurant in Schönau am Königssee

Friendly staff and great views. Fresh milk is €3-4 that they made straight from the cows that live there. Note that the cows are only there for the summer season so if you’re there too early in the spring or too late in the fall then they aren’t here. From the hut to the waterfall is about 30min. The path is uphill and can be strenuous, but generally it’s maintained.

Einer der schönsten Orte die ich jemals bereist habe. Der Weg dort hin ist etwas lang doch lohnt sich voll und ganz denn auch der ist wunderschön. Zuerst fährt man mit einem Boot über den Königssee bis zum Obersee. Dort Wandert man dann durch ein Naturschutzgebiet am See entlang. Am Ende wird man mit einem Herlich Plätzen auf der Alm zwischen den Obersee und einen Wasserfall belohnt. Auf der Alm kann man dann Milchprodukte von den wohl glücklichsten Kühlen auf der Welt genießen.

Wenn man einen Ort sucht wo man die Welt für einen Moment ausschalten kann dann ist dies genau der richtige Platz. Ich war nun schon mehrmals dort und bin immer wieder beeindruckt von dieser Naturschönheit.

Ganz wichtig unbedingt festes Schuhwerk anziehen.

Nachdem ich die anderen Bewertungen gelesen habe muss ich noch etwas hinzufügen. Ich verstehe nicht warum die Mensch an jeden noch so abgelegenen Ort eine vollbewirtung und ein fünf Sterne Restaurant erwarten! Das man dort überhaupt Getränke wie Bier bestellen kann erfordert einen Riesigen Aufwand. Einfach mal überlegen wie man selbst dort hin gekommen ist. Und dann wird gemeckert es waren keine Sonnenschirme dort oder es hat geregnet und wir wurden nicht reingelassen. Ja das ist doch keine Gaststube das ist eine Alm mit Verkaufsfenster. Und wer ein Problem mit Wetterbedingungen hat sollte nicht Wandern gehen sonder sich vielleicht in einem Einkaufszentrum aufhalten. Wenn man in die Natur geht nimmt man sich am besten einen Sonnen und Regenschutz mit. Das schöne an diesem Ort ist ja grade das dort nicht so viel...

Charming place at the southern end of Obersee only accessible by foot and a 1+ hour hike from the Salet pier where you are dropped off by boat ride on nearby Konigsee Lake.

They have local buttermilk, cheese, lemonade and beer along with a few other food and drink items. Cash only.
