Our absolute favourite North Indian restaurant in Germany. The food is authentic and excellent - everything from the starters, main course, naan to dessert is top notch. The portions are generous, the food is spiced beautifully and is filling, without it being heavy in the stomach. Food for the soul, as we call it.

Our Indian as well as German friends love the food. Friends from the Netherlands also said this is the best Indian food they have had in Europe.

The staff is very friendly, polite, and attentive, but also do not intrude. They take care of special requests (and helped make my friend's birthday, even when we went spontaneously). Indian hospitality at its finest.

Great Indian restaurant when compared to all the restaurants I have experienced in Germany so far. What I liked most is the effort that Gandhi tried to keep up the authenticity of food. I felt the spices and ingredients they use are specially chosen which adds more Quality to the food. Second topic would be the hospitality which is outstanding.

I haven’t seen an indian restaurant packed up with more local guests. That proves the quality of food and service.

I’m originally from India and have been living in Germany for over 15 years — and this is by far the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever visited here. I regularly order from and dine at this place — both for lunch and dinner — and it never disappoints.

What truly impresses me is how each curry has its own distinct taste, carefully prepared to preserve the authentic Indian flavor. You can really tell that the food is made with passion and attention to detail.

Whether it’s a quiet meal or a larger order for family and friends, the quality, freshness, and consistency are outstanding. The staff is friendly, the service is reliable, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
