Soya Asian kitchen — Restaurant in Senden

I dined in here on a Friday evening.

The staff is very friendly, but also busy. Two people were tending to customers, both dine-in and takeout, and one of them also prepared sushi and the other occasionally helped in the kitchen. Getting the check took another ten minutes, easily. Lots of people show up to order and pick up takeout.

The dishes... I ordered the vegan spring rolls and a poke bowl with sesame sauce.

The spring rolls were very crunchy, some might prefer this, it depends.

The poke bowl was nicely done, but the sea tang salad and the edamame were really cold, giving the impression they just came from the fridge. So I wouldn't recommend ordering a poke bowl here, even though quality was in general what you would expect. It was quite filling.

In hindsight, I'd recommend taking a classical wok dish instead, though, as these are bound to be freshly prepared.

The person accompanying me had sushi and was very pleased.

Visual presentation of the food is good, each dish looks nice and carefully prepared.

The ambiance is okay, the walls have been painted in large art. It lacks a certain touch to be a cozy dine-in experience, furniture is sparse and simple, the feel is modern. There were instrumental versions of well-known pop classics playing, giving a bit of a somber atmosphere.

So me and my wife had the best experience here, the food is perfect here my wife took poke salmon bowl with teryaki souce and she says that it's one of the best foods she has eaten. And i took 2 types of sushi soya spezial rool and crispy ebi roll if im correct. They were very fresh and tasty. We will continue to come here to try different tastes because they are worth it. We loved this.

Dass der Eingang Tür an Tür mit einem anderen Gastrobetrieb liegt sorgte erst für Verwirrung, aber das war ok.

Man geht dann rein und in den ersten Stock. Soweit ansprechend, bei der Servicekraft vorgestellt und entsprechend der Anweisung Platz genommen... Und dann vergessen worden!!! Noch an drei anderen Tischen saßen Menschen, andere Tische waren nicht abgeräumt. Aber dass jemand kommt und die Bestellung aufnimmt oder mal abräumt? Nein... Dann zu ihr gegangen und ein "oh ja, vergessen" erhalten... Ist dann ein paar Minuten danach gekommen und weitere 4 Minuten später kam das Getränk. Etwas später dann die Suppe. Diese war geschmacklich auf ohne Beanstandung. Als dann die Hauptspeiße kam war die Verwunderung groß. Denn diese sollte Garnelen enthalten! Sollte... Also wieder zur Theke gelaufen... Wieder reklamiert... Ja, wurden vergessen. Geschmacklich keine Offenbarung. Bekomme ich leider selber besser hin.
