Our stay at this otherwise beautiful hotel turned into a nightmare due to a faulty smoke alarm. Three times during the night, we were jolted awake by the alarm’s piercing sound. Each time, we prepared to evacuate with our children, only to find it was a false alarm. ||With no staff available and the reception closed, our night's rest was ruined. Desperately, we tried contacting the booking company’s 24/7 support, but even they couldn’t reach anyone at the hotel. This resulted in a sleepless night as we anxiously stayed awake, worried about the repeated alarms' cause. ||The next morning, we finally spoke to the owner, who attributed the false alarms to sudden changes in air pressure – an unsatisfactory excuse. Fortunately, after discussions between the booking company and the owner, we received full compensation for our stay.
