DO NOT GO IF YOU DON'T SPEAK GERMAN! Turned up today after reading all the good reviews. Encountered the waitress who addressed us in German. I explained I didn't speak German, but would like a table for 2. At this point she started saying no. She ran off without explanation, ans left us outside. Next, out comes the manager who asks us what we would like. Once again I apologised for my lack of German (I already speak French, and a little Italian. I unfortunately don't have no time to learn a 4th language). The manager then grimaced, proceeding to tell us that they had no tables. This was a lie. It was very early evening, and was hot. Food: A simple menu consisting of starters you'd expect, salads, a few different schnitzels and rump steaks. The surprising stand out was the chicken wings, which were cooked perfectly. The schnitzel was good.
Drinks: a few beers and Decent wine selection, as well as the standard selection of non alcoholic options
Environment: the back garden area is nice. Despite being located next to the Mosel, there's no view as it's surrounded by trees entirely. Still the environment is...
Read moreMy family frequents this place regularly because we find the food to be reliably excellent, offering hearty portions that represent good value for money. The atmosphere is decent, making it a suitable spot for a casual lunch, and their lunch deals add to the appeal. Service is quick and staff is nice. My personal favorite is the schnitzel, but the seasonal menu, featuring dishes like venison in winter showcases the kitchen's versatility. There are few vegetarian options but this isn’t what you come here for. The restaurant is a popular choice for both locals and tourists passing...
