The Saaz offers a very broad choice of Indian oriental cuisine. The spiciness has been adapted to the European palate, but the basic splendour and variety of seasoning is still there. There are a broad range of dishes with meats, nevertheless, there are many vegetarian options to choose from.

Richly decorated, well maintained. The staff is extremely attentive and observant, friendly. One point of criticism would be, that the decorative napkins on the table had prints of water bottles of previous guests, so those obviously hadn't been changed.

What took (takes) me entirely by surprise, is how the feedback in Google Maps ranges from excellence to dismal. Okay, so I didn't grow up in West Bengal, but I did spend 14 years in close contact to Indian culture. The lamb biryani was tastefully spiced, refreshing, fruity, and aromatic. The meat was very tender, maybe a little dry. The biryani sauce was rich and spicy. The chicken tandoori practically melted off the bones, giving up the typical rich aromatic scent I have come to associate with the tandoori spices, underscored by delicious garlic and lemon. No comments on Food. It was very good. But the behaviour of staff is very very poor. They add 6euros more to our bill without informing and when asked they were saying crazy reasons and were rude. Very disappointed with their behaviour.

Edit: It seems the saaz staff have misbehaved with my colleagues and made them leave the restaurant without eating, assuming it was they who reviewed in the google.

Guys, let me be clear, the food is very good!! I repeat, the food is VERY GOOD!! I ate more than 20 times after I gave this review. But, as you can read above, the problem is only with the service, and to be even more specific, there is one young waiter with beard and a bit spikes, his attitude is not at all good. The very same person misbehaved with my colleagues too. I love some of their staff very much but because of this particular waiter, I had to give a bad review.

Now that they have behaved so inappropriately with my colleagues, I'm afraid I cannot even dare to go...

Yesterday I went to saaz with 8 colleagues, And they spoiled over evening we are very much disappointed by the rude behavior of the staff.

As it was hot evening we wanted a place outside even though there was 3 unreserved table they told there is no place, i found that later when i checked it. They just did that so that they can gain more customers as there was table outside.

After I identified this and resisted about the same one random staff guy came and asked us are you the guys who wrote bad reviews about us in google. We where shocked to have such comments and instead of asking on how to improve their service he was on us. When me and my colleagues strongly resisted this behavior as we didn't wrote anything even though we have that right he was trying to close the matter by telling your friend might have return.. This is the complete scrap behavior by some...
