I have given 2 stars for the serving staff who were very friendly... but the food was a big disappointment. Almost everything lacked flavour and taste, I can only presume the Chef does not really know what each dish should taste like. For example the Chicken Tikka should be marinated for several hours, idealy overnight so that when you cut the meat you can see the marinade has soaked 1-2mm into the meat, so that when it is baked you get a very deep flavour. What was served to me was fresh chicken dipped in a weak source then cooked in an oven.... it was dry and tasteless. I also think that they did not have enough staff I counted only 3 including the Chef and we had a very long wait inbetween courses. Sadly we will not be returning. Very disapointed. This place is far away from everything, some suburb of Kassel. We saw this restaurant looking almost completely empty in the middle of nowhere, and immediately were worried it's not all the reviews make it out to be. This worry was correct. The food is completely mediocre and bland. Curry that tastes like water and a boring chicken. I highly suspect this is a place that took marketing a bit too far, if you catch my meaning. It does not have the quality to back it up.

Bei Empfehlungen für indische Restaurants bin ich sehr vorsichtig, wie auch hier! Teure Gerichte, die ihren Preis überhaupt nicht wert sind, was wir da vorgesetzt bekommen hatten und wo sind die Gewürze hin? Geschmack? Fehl am Platz! Indische Küche? Fehl am Platz und über 20€ für ein Gericht??? Sorry Leute, die meisten Menschen wissen in Deutschland nicht was Indische Küche ist und glauben toll Indisch gegessen zu haben 🙈😆 Ein Phänomen was ich auch in Berlin schon so oft kritisiert habe, ist die Anpassung an den deutschen Gaumen. Kocht endlich original Indisch, wo man die Gewürze auch schmecken kann und verwendet frischen Koriander!!! Der Beilagensalat wie meistens üblich ohne Dressing, fad und langweilig! Ich hatte mich so darauf gefreut, Indisch essen zu gehen. Anstelle den ganzen SchnickSchnack könnte das Restaurant viel bessere Gerichte (wirklich lange nicht mehr so schlecht Indisch gegessen!) und original Indisch kochen. Immer die selbe Leier! Da koche ich doch lieber daheim original Indisch, so schwer ist das nicht, ganz im Gegenteil wenn man die richtigen Gewürze hat und nicht so einen geschmacklosen Brei für viel Geld da vorgesetzt bekommt! Bin wohl von Berlin verwöhnt was die günstigen Preise und gutes Essen angeht...(Indisch ist nur das Saravana Bhavan am Potsdamer Platz zu empfehlen, wo hauptsächlich Inder anzutreffen sind - ein sehr gutes Zeichen!)
