I came here as I had to use my gift card before it expired. The concept is Brazilian but the food is not.

Warning: if you are vegetarian, do not come here. There is a vegetarian menu with a buffet selection and then pineapple and bread served at the table.

The buffet menu is not labeled at all, so you honestly don’t know what you will be eating. If you have allergies, well good luck.

We had to wait 15 minutes even though we had a reservation. Our server was really nice but then left during our meal and we were left with an unfriendly staff member.

We did not want to order the menu everyone had as the meat selection was a bit dodgy for that price, so we ordered the meat plate from the kitchen and the fish plate. When we received the meat plate, it consisted of marinated beef, onions, salad and tomatoes. The beef was well done, which is a bit sad. It was also a bit salty for my taste. The fish menu turned out to be prawns on a Spieß that was served at the table, not on a plate. It took almost more than half and hour to get as they kept forgetting about us.

If you order from the menu, the waiters will still come to your table asking you if you want the food from the Spieß as they can’t even realize you didn’t order the menu. We kept telling them we didn’t order it, but I’m sure others could get away with getting everything for free.

This is definitely a place for groups and not for a quiet night. The service is like American style where everything is rushed. When we received our bill, we waited many minutes for them to take our money. One waitress came to the table and took the one remaining beer glass on the table but not our money. Honestly, if the bill is ok the table and no plates, would you not at least ask if we need anything else or should they take the bill?

It was a different experience, but it has nothing to do with Brazil nor the food. I would not...

Leider kann ich das Essen dort nicht empfehlen. Wir hatten einen Abend vorher für 2 Personen reserviert. Als wir ankamen hieß es wir sollen 10€ Eintritt bezahlen, da heute Live-Musik sei. 10 € bezahle ich übrigens in Clubs in Stuttgart. Ich meinte dann, dass man mir am Telefon nichts gesagt habe und der Anruf war einen Abend zuvor. 10€?! In Restaurants sollte das nie ein Thema sein. Schließlich soll das ja Gäste wieder anlocken und sie nich abzocken. Wir dachten wir geben dem Ganzen eine Chance, wir sind ja auch deswegen extra gekommen. Zum Personal: Einige sprechen nicht so gutes Deutsch, andere schon. Das erschwert es bei Fragen oder Wünschen/Bestellungen. Manche Bedienungen hatten nicht wirklich Lust auf ihre Arbeit. Das hat man leider am Gesichtsausdruck gemerkt. Andere hingegen schon: Ein Mann, etwas älter, mit Zopf war sehr freundlich! Zum Buffet: Ein Desaster. Ein anderes Wort kann ich dafür nicht finden. Die Beilagen waren kalt und lätschig. Für einen Strammen Preis von 36€ und ein paar zerquetschten Erwarte ich einfach frische Beilagen. Das Zeug wurde bis wir gingen nicht ein einziges Mal ausgetauscht oder aufgefüllt. Ich fand es traurig, dass nichts ausgeschildert ist und man nicht weiß was man da nimmt, bis man reinbeißt. Dadurch verschwende ich auch als Gast einiges an Essen, da mir bestimmte Dinge nicht gefallen und ich sie auch nie nehmen würde - Sie sind aber im Buffet irgendwo frittiert und unerkennbar. Ich wollte ja auch die Esskultur kennenlernen. Aber wenn ich nicht weiß, was es ist? Außerdem muss ich sagen, dass manche Dinge schon ungewöhnlich gewürzt sind. Der Gurkensalat hat nach Zucker geschmeckt? Das Personal lief abwechselnd mit unterschiedlichen Spießen herum. Da sollte das Timing besser gemanaged sein. Das Fleisch kam so schnell an die Tische, dass wir gar nicht mehr hinterherkamen und die Teller irgendwann auch voll gewesen sind. Irgendwann mussten wir auch ständig nur noch ablehnen, was zeitweise etwas nervig ist, wenn ein Gespräch ständig unterbrochen wird. Geschmacklich hat mir davon leider nur eines wirklich geschmeckt. Der Rest war entweder zähes Fleisch oder war mit Gewürzen überzogen, die uns einfach nicht zugesagt hatten. Am schlechtesten fand ich die Würstchen. Zur Live-Musik: Diese war viel zu laut, man konnte sich ab dem Zeitpunkt nicht mehr wirklich unterhalten. Außerdem war die Live-Musik im hinteren Teil des Restaurants. Vor der Live-Musik war eine kleine Tanzfläche und um diese herum eine Tischreihe in einer U-Form. Dort saß anfangs niemand. Wir fanden es zunächst erst seltsam, da das (vielleicht zu 50%?) gefüllte Restaurant im vorderen Teil des Restaurant saß. Irgendwann kamen einige Gäste in ganz weiß gekleidet. Teilweise standen sie vorne am Eingang direkt im Weg und machten dort Sektempfang. Der Platz war beengt und um ehrlich zu sein, hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass der Besitzer sie einfach zu Tisch bittet. Die standen da ewig und haben sich auch nicht bewegt, wenn man mal zur Toilette musste. Später haben sich dann in diese Tischreihe in U-Form gesetzt. Direkt vor der Live-Musik. Ehrlich gesagt kam es mir so vor, als hätte ich als Gast deren Live-Musik für ihre Feier am Ende bezahlt.

Nach so einem schlechten Abend und für mich Abzocke...

EDITED: I wrote my review sometime in April. I unfortunately have to change it from 5 stars to two. Everything was good, the waiter serving our drinks friendly, until we got another waiter serving the meat. He was unfriendly, his tone condenscending, and seemed to dislike the fact that we ordered three different types of buffet (vegetarian, fish, meat). He clearly did more rounds at the other tables (for the meat buffet), compared to our table, and was straight forward impolite. As an example the table behind us got served dessert (the grilled pineapple 3 times). It was only offered to us once. He spoiled what would have been a wonderful experience; and had me regretting why I recommended the restaurant to my friends.

I hope the management looks into this. One person should not be responsible for undoing the good work...
