It's a nice cozy Italian restaurant in the old city center of Herrenberg. Not easy to get to, if you are not familiar with the area, but worth making the effort. The menu is well rounded. The Carpaccio di Manza was very nice and fresh, and Ravioli dell' Osteria was delightful. The service is courteous and reasonably fast when not crowded. During peak times, it gets rather noisy and since the tables are very close together, it can get uncomfortable as well. My husband and I went there for a date night couple of weeks ago and had a pleasant experience. The reason I give four stars is the response we got when we said we did not have a reservation, the waiter seemed to be annoyed and too excited to seat us. After that, everything was great. I had salmon in a creamy sauce with spinach and it was delicious, fish was cooked to perfection. My husband had meat platter and he could not finish it, it was so much food.
