The food was definitely tasty. They even gave us a free portion of a tomato coconut soup, which I would happily order in the future. It was a little odd that we didn't get rice with our main dish, but we couldn't remember whether it said naan or rice or naan and rice. Since we ordered a side of naan, perhaps they decided not to give us rice? I would consider this a bit of a detraction because you would have gotten both at all the other Indian restaurants in town. I also found the lack of rice a bit disappointing because the naan was a touch too burnt for me.

Unfortunately, the service was not a pleasant experience for us. We were waited on by two different people, one of whom was kind and quiet and fast. We would have preferred to have only him waiting on us. The second person was far too chatty, said rather odd things to us, and generally was "too helpful". For example, instead of just pointing to the restroom door (which I had already noticed myself), he came and opened it for me and kind of got in my way. It was awkward. Ultimately, the main issue for us was that the service was quite slow. It took about an hour and 15 minutes to get our main dish served to us. We were quite hungry after a hike and were not anticipating such a long time for lunch, which contributed to us finding the second, chatty waiter quite annoying.

Das essen hat super geschmeckt, die Preise sind wirklich in Ordnung, von der ganzen zubereitung her ist es sehr authentisch ( auch wenn sie sich mit dem scharf an die deutschen angepasst haben, was ich hier aber nicht als kritik meine!!) Die räumlichkeiten sind in einem 300 jahre alten Haus, das geschützt ist, was dem ganzen einen urigen flair gibt, auch wenn das nicht ganz zum Indischen Thema passt, aber irgendwie macht es das ganze noch viel gemütlicher. Vielleicht könnte man anmerken das die Zwischendecke ganz schön laut knarzt, aber ganz ehrlich, das gehört halt zum Haus dazu! Der grund warum ein stern abgezogen wurde, ist das es recht lange dauert. Natürlich können die sich auch nicht teleportieren und wenn ein restaurant voll ist, muss man nun einfach mit wartezeit rechnen. Mir geht es hier eher um die getränke (nicht mein mangolassi, sondern die anderen getränke, mein Bier hatte schon kein schaum mehr als es zum Tisch gekommen ist, aber auch daraus will ich keinen vorwurf machen, das kann jedem mal passieren das der schaum einfach nicht hällt) oder die vorspeisensalate. Aber von dem Punkt abgesehen ist es absolut empfehlenswert! Die Bedienung war super freundlich und selbst als wir die Zeit vergessen hatten und es doch schon bisschen spät geworden ist, wurde uns nie das gefühl gegeben, das wir uns jetzt beeilen müssen, das hatten wir schon ganz anders erlebt! Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch, wenn auch nicht darauf, mich für ein Gericht entscheiden zu müssen, am liebsten würde ich einfach alles probieren! I have ordered in Lieferando the Chicken Tikka Masala. And the chicken was super red, very poorly cooked (as shown in the picture). So I put a very bad rate but then, the people from the restaurant called me and said that this was fine (that the cooking process is good in their restaurant), so I deleted the comment from Lieferando. But I met my friends from India and they told me that this is very bad, it is not supposed to be red. So that's it, a well-deserved 1 star.
