Gasthaus Zollstüble — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Lörrach

Was busy as we walked in, many people dining out, and a good atmosphere was a building. Seems to be a relic of the past, a past where people came to dine out, have the chat and a beer or two, young and old all mingling together, families amongst each other.........its a rare thing to see a bar like this these days, which is a shame..........a place where the local community came together....... Everyone was very friendly, and we ordered more local beer, this time a Rothaus Hochschwarzwald, quite a mouthful to say, but went down well enough. Liked this place, and its good to see that some communal activities are kept alive in this little corner...

Ja und nein. Superfreundlicher Service, aber beim Essen gibt's deutliche Abstriche. Der asiatische, ebenfalls sehr freundliche Wirt/Koch versucht badische Küche mit asiatischen Einflüssen irgendwie freestyle zu kombinieren und leider ging das bei uns weitgehend in die Hose. Ein Wurstsalat ist ein Wurstsalat und nicht ein wilder Salatmix mit Oliven und sonstwas mit minimal Wurst darauf. Und Käsespätzle sind kein Nudelauflauf, dessen Preis ich übrigens frech fand. Ich würde empfehlen entweder asiatisch, oder richtig badisch zu kochen. Etwas bessere Weine wären auch nicht...
