Wiesengarten Musetti — Restaurant in Riehen

This is an excellent Restaurant! It stands rather alone on a road toward the German border and there are only a few parking spaces. However, once the close by pool is closed, you might find some parking there. However, you might consider to leave your car at home as they have a fantastic wine list! I can recommend the Amarone Casa vecchie!

They have a very nice menu with many choices from the Italian kitchen but also daily dishes that are well worth trying. I had a sea food salad which was really fresh and tasty followed by a fantastic steak in mushroom sauce. My wife had a beef stake to die for! My new favourite place to get good meat in Basel (very close to 800°).

They either serve inside or outside. The place outside is nice with many trees and a nice atmosphere with all the lights. The furniture is somewhat cheap and not quiet up to standard but the white cloths hide it pretty well. It seems like a great party location as there is plenty of room, also with roof if it rains. Now it can get a little chilly so bring warm clothes or ask for a blanket. The personnel is extremely friendly and very helpful. The inside looks very tidy all in white, although I did not spend a lot of time in there.

You can see the kitchen from the garden and it looks super tidy and clean building a lot of trust and certainly shows in the excellent food served.

Why did I not give 5 stars? I think it would need a little bit more class in the outside area and the tables could be a little bit further apart. But this is really complaining on a high standard. If you want to have a nice evening, this is a fantastic...

Made for only Snoby ppl .Modest people not welcomed , unfriendly service! We ask if possible to have a drink then we need to sit in the bar only there was so many empty places but not for us !!! This restaurant having them clients I guess so if u r not well dressed u r not well treated , the waitresses...
