Market Restaurant — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Leutkirch im Allgäu

We had dinner here for four days. To start with the (short) positive list, drinks were included and there was a chocolate fountain and soft ice for the kids. Apart from these three things I cannot think of a single positive thing. The meat is horrendously overcooked, I feel sorry for the salmon to be mistreated so appallingly - what a waste of good, the pork (which was served all days) was dry and tough, the paella was seasoned with curry ? (!) and with brick-tough shrimp, the tzatsiki came out of a plastic box (and it’s so easy to make yourself:-(), the peas and carrots car out of a jar, not to mention the ‘mixed’ cooked vegetables, which featured more canned vegetables. To top it off, a fly crawled out of my schwartzwalder ham to finally kill the appetite. Would never in my life recommend this...

Disappointing Buffet Experience – Poor Quality and Value

We were very disappointed with the evening buffet. Aside from a few basic salads, there was little else of quality to eat. The roast meat was consistently tough and dry, and the children's hot dogs and buns were clearly the cheapest possible option.

For the price charged, the quality of the food was far below expectations. It’s no surprise there are so many complaints — the value simply isn’t there.

Staff at the buffet counter appeared disengaged, often chatting amongst themselves and showing little interest in the guests. It left the impression that management is cutting corners to boost profit, at the expense of both food quality and service.

Unfortunately, we wouldn’t consider returning if this is the standard offered...

Zunächst muss ich sagen, dass wir wirklich keine hohen Erwartungen an die Qualität hatten, da wir aus anderen Center Parcs das Buffet Restaurant kannten. In diesem Center Parc sind die anderen Restaurant ganz OK, daher hätte sich das im Market Restaurant wiederspiegeln können, leider war das gar nicht der Fall. Die Atmosphäre gleicht einer Großkantine, im Vergleich zu den Parcs in Holland, wo das Buffet in ein schönes Gesamtbild integriert ist - Beispielsweise um Deko Objekte herum - findet man hier ein eine sterile Kreisförmig aufgebaute Theke mit kalt weiser Beleuchtung von oben. Es gibt 2 Essensrunden, einmal von 17:30 bis 19:00 Uhr und von 19:15 bis 20:45. In dieser Zeit ist jeweils ein All-You-Can-Eat and Drink Buffet vorhanden. Wir wollten die 19:15 Uhr zeit nutzen und wurden bereits um 19 Uhr eingelassen. Leider ohne den Hinweis, dass wir die Reste der Vorgänger bekommen. Alles war kalt, leer und abgestanden. das Buffet wurde offensichtlich nicht nachgefüllt. Erst gegen 19:15 begann man mit dem Auffüllen. Ein Hinweis zu Begin hätte das folgende Drama etwas geschmälert. Denn das Essen war einfach schlecht. Ein andere Wort gibt es nicht. Die Schnitzel waren labberig, die Steaks zäh und das Gemüse kalt. Die Löffelbiskuit lagen definitiv schon einige Tage dort, so hart wie sie waren. Die Auswahl war: Etwas Salat, Schnitzel, ein Fisch, ein Steak und ein paar Saucen (die den Anschein von Fertigsaucen machten) das Kinderbuffet bestand aus Fischstäbchen und Kartoffelpüree. Der Nachtisch war etwas Wackelpudding und Eis. Was aber gar nicht schlecht war, war der Preis - Zumindest aus Sicht der Teamleitung. Diese miserable Auswahl kostete uns als 4 Köpfige Famile 84 Euro. Wir haben das Essen abgebrochen und uns bei der Teamleitung beschwert. Diese Beschwerde wurde zwar angehört aber nicht ernst genommen. Statt den Betrag zu erstatten (wenn auch nur anteilig) wurde ein Kaffee angeboten und gesagt wir wären ja die Ersten, die sich beschweren. Das mag sein, man spricht ja heute nicht mehr mit den Verantwortlichen sondern schreibt Rezensionen. Leider habe auch ich keine andere Möglichkeit, denn die konstruktive Kritik wird...
