A must visit!

We stumbled across this restaurant by accident while looking for somewhere to stop with our camper for our last night on a two week Europe trip and it ended our trip perfectly. Be prepared to walk up a bit of a hill for a few minutes because the parking isn't directly outside the venue. Don't forget to get a free picture from the talking machine just outside the restaurant with a view of the castle behind!

The service was impeccable, the views were stunning, we had a wander around the castle ruins post dinner and the food was delicious. What more could you want?

I had the käsespätzle and my partner had the schnitzel and both were amazing. As a vegetarian I've struggled to find local and traditional food to try while travelling but this was an excellent traditional dish to try for the veggies! Also, the apple strudel was the best we'd had on our trip by far.

This is an absolute gem in the Black Forest, with wonderful view, surrounded by nature and a place to take a break, as well as to admire the ruins of the Burg Schauenburg, very instagramable spot :) The food is very delicious and meals are cooked with local and regional products. Die Burg in Oberkirch - Ein Genuss für alle Sinne

Ich hatte kürzlich das Vergnügen, das Restaurant "Die Burg" in Oberkirch zu besuchen, und es war eine rundum gelungene Erfahrung. Der Service war ausgezeichnet – das Personal war freundlich, aufmerksam und stets bemüht, unseren Besuch so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten.

Die Preis-Leistung ist wirklich bemerkenswert. Die Qualität der Speisen ist hervorragend, und die Portionen sind großzügig bemessen. Besonders beeindruckend ist die Auswahl an regionalen und saisonalen Gerichten, die mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet werden.

Ein weiteres Highlight ist die atemberaubende Aussicht, die man von der Terrasse aus genießen kann. Es ist der perfekte Ort, um bei einem guten Essen zu entspannen und die schöne Umgebung zu bewundern.

Zusätzlich zur tollen Atmosphäre und dem hervorragenden Essen bietet "Die Burg" auch eine gemütliche Einrichtung, die zum Verweilen einlädt. Ich kann dieses Restaurant jedem empfehlen, der in Oberkirch oder Umgebung unterwegs ist und ein besonderes kulinarisches Erlebnis sucht.
