It was late, after 10pm and they were still open. The waitress speaks English and she explained all we needed to know about the menu. The whole environment was great! The other clients made us feel welcome as well, showing us where the best tables were placed. The fries were decorated with a thin slice of watermelon what gave the dish a beautiful color. Wir waren heute Mittag das erste mal im Akropolis auf Grund einer Empfehlung von einem Freund und wundern uns noch immer über die guten Kritiken und das volle Lokal. Schon beim betreten des Restaurants hatten wir das Gefühl unerwünscht zu sein, das hat sich wärend des Aufenthalts nicht gebessert. Das Ambiente ist "schwierig" da die bauliche Aufteilung nicht viele Möglichkeiten bietet, die Dekoration ist Lieblos und altbacken. Die Servicekräfte schienen überfordert und hatten zum Teil scheinbar Sprachprobleme, ein lächeln (welches unserer Meinung nach selbstverständlich in der Gastronomie sein sollte) suchte man vergebens ebenso die sonst üblichen Fragen ob man noch einen Wunsch hat oder wie das Essen schmeckt. DAS ESSEN war "NAJA" die Fleischkomponeten waren gut gewürzt und saftig, das Brot zur Vorspeise war auch lecker. Was uns nicht geschmeckt hat war der gebackene Käse, Knoblauchbrot, Metaxasosse (kein Metaxa Geschmack statt dessen Gemüsebrühearoma), Knoblauchkartoffeln(waren einfach nur trocken und nicht gut gemacht) und der Eiskaffee. Die Wartezeiten aufs Essen waren in Ordnung. Was vielleicht auch noch zu erwähnen wäre es gibt kein bzw. schlechtes Handynetz und kein WLAN für den Fall das man erreichbar sein...

For a lovely Tuesday at the end of our holiday we couldn't have stumbled onto a nicer and tastier restaurant.
