Café Bachbeck Konditorei — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Schiltach

Recommended place to drop by for a coffee and a piece of pastry. Despite it having a nice view and being in town center, prices are not high at all. Four coffees and two pieces of pastry didn't cost more than 15 euros, which considering its location is great. We had the black forest gateau and a seasonal blueberry pie (heidelbeerkuchen), both looking and tasting great. The place seems to have some history with a nice old lady in charge. An absolutely amazing bakery located in a town that’s looks coming out of a fairy tale.

Is really amazing to find a local bakery, not part of a franchise chain, where produce all this quality cakes.

After walk throw all this village is a real pleasure to sit down to have a good cake and a coffee and admire this lovely building from inside.

Our favourites was the Black Forest cake, the blueberries creme cheese cake and the cappuccino cheese cake. But all the cakes looks delicious, and all the cakes we taste were absolutely amazing!

Came with 5 people and were seated immediately. The Café was half full, but we were taken care of immediately. The waiters were friendly and funny, and considering the number of guests very quick with orders. The coffee and tea is perfect in taste and strength.

The black forest cake is highly recommended. A nice balance of sweetness from the cream, slight sourness from the cherries and a full aroma of the cherry liqueur. Be aware that this cake can make you tipsy....
