We were lucky enough to book our stay here based on reviews and had an amazing visit. We had a room with a large balcony out the back with a beautiful and tranquil view of pastures and the Black Forest. The room was clean and spacious with excellent ventilation, a big help since there is no air conditioning. Breakfast in the Cafe is included in the price and was served rather than a buffet. Eggs cooked to order and very attentive service. 5 stars. The owner was wonderful with some great selections of places to visit. This was our favorite stay on our trip. It is located off the beaten path and out in the country yet not far from a several attractions in the...

We got a recommendation about the Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte at the Feldbergblick Cafe, claiming it is absolutely the best one in the Black Forest area, so we had to try it ourselves. Unfortunately, the place was out of this traditional dessert by the time we got there, but we ordered two other gorgeous cakes from the vast variety of desserts they had... We were like kids in a sweet shop :) The cakes were beautifully served and simply delicious, the service was excellent, and the stunning scenery & views of the Feldburg mountain forests surrounding the cafe were absolutely worth the drive. By the way, Titisee is only 10 minutes...

We got a recommendation about the Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte at the Feldbergblick Cafe, claiming it is absolutely the best one in the Black Forest area, so we had to try it ourselves. Unfortunately, the place was out of this traditional dessert by the time we got there, but we ordered two other gorgeous cakes from the vast variety of desserts they had... We were like kids in a sweet shop :) The cakes were beautifully served and simply delicious, the service was excellent, and the stunning scenery & views of the Feldburg mountain forests surrounding the cafe were absolutely worth the drive. By the way, Titisee is only 10 minutes away from there.

Auch heute wieder wunderbar, wie schon so oft Genuss pur. Die Qualität der unterschiedlichen Kuchen/Torten ist unübertroffen, alles stimmt: Beste Verarbeitung, die unglaubliche Frische der Sahne, der gute Geschmack dank allerbester, ausschließlich natürlicher Zutaten. Für mich besonders wichtig, denn bei mir muss es definitiv wegen Unverträglichkeiten frei von Konservierungsmitteln, künstlichen Farb- u. Aromastoffen sein. All das bietet zB. die ausgezeichnete Schwarzwälder-Kirschtorte, für die auch der lange Weg vom Bodensee nicht zu weit ist. Gerne komme ich immer wieder mit meinen Freunden, als Langläufer, Wanderer oder Motorradfahrer vorbei. Zwei Bemerkungen aus gegebenen Anlass: Die Schwarzwälder-Kirchtorte im Café Feldbergblick ist ungewöhnlich hoch, daher muss das Kuchenstück auf den Teller gelegt werden. Sehr hoch, nicht so breit oder flach und breit macht im Volumen keinen Unterschied! Zylinderausschnitt-Berechnung nannte sich das im Mathematik-Unterricht ... Der Preis ist in mE. bei der hervorragenden Qualität völlig in Ordnung, da sind wir am Bodensee anderes gewohnt. 1€ billiger, dafür aber aufgetaut, chemisch präpariert, vllt sogar vom Discounter, - so habe ich das leider auch schon im Schwarzwald erlebt: absolut keine Alternative!

Ich war mit meiner Familie (5 Personen) zum Kuchen essen dort. Es war Sonntag und relativ voll. Wir mussten an der Türe warten, bis ein Tisch frei wurde. Gäste die den Gastraum betraten wurden energisch und streng zurück zur Tür beordert um dort zu warten, bis ihnen ein Platz zugewiesen wird. Das war schon recht unfreundlich. Als wir endlich einen Tisch bekamen dauerte es lange Minuten, bis endlich die Bestellung aufgenommen wurde. Dann dauerte es sehr lange, bis die ersten Kuchen und der Kaffee kamen. Ein Teil der Familie konnte nun Kuchen essen. Der Rest musste warten, da noch 2 von 5 Kuchen fehlten. Das dauerte bestimmt nochmal 15 Minuten. Natürlich waren die anderen schon längst mit Kaffee und Kuchen fertig. Es muss doch möglich sein - vor allem bei so was einfachem wie Kuchen und Kaffee alle am Tisch gleichzeitig zu bedienen. Auch gab es keinerlei Entschuldigung für die Wartezeit. Insgesamt war der Laden wohl unterdurchschnittlich organisiert. Schade. Der Gastraum zeichnet sich im Übrigen durch eine sehr große Anzahl an verschiedenen Uhren aus.
