El Greco im Kurgarten — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Villingen-Schwenningen

Overall a nice greek restaurant at a beautiful spot at the border to a park. The location is that big that you don't need to reserve when you go as a couple, but might be helpful on saturdays, sundays or if you are more than 2 guys. I think not paying attention to empty glasses is kind of the greek culture, because it happens in all greek restaurants we visited... or it's just related to us ... who knows.. maybe it is just my german culture to recognise that :) But once ordered everything arrived the table quick, hot and with a good taste. Dishes are not too big but they are exactly what you need for an eventing...

The place is good. However all meals contain French fries, French fries and French fries as sides, so boring... They should be more creative if they want to retain customers.

I paid 20 euros for a dish called "Steak Mexican style" it was a steak with French fries and beans from the can... Seriously?

I expected a steak with guacamole, chorizo or...

Nachdem wir in unserem Hotel nebenan keinen Tisch mehr bekommen haben,gingen wir zum El Greco. Ambiente ist ok mit schönem Garten.Wir bestellten Vorspeisen haben aber kein Besteck und extra Teller dazu bekommen…da wir hungrig waren haben wir mit den Händen das Brot ins Tzatziki und die restlichen Cremes getunkt und gegessen…die Cremes waren lecker …der Rest von den Hauptspeise war ok aber nichts besonderes …Ich nenne das immer der „01815“ Grieche mit seinen Marathon Akropolis Metaxa usw. Tellern…kennst du einen kennst du alle…langweilige Küche…Fleisch mit Reis oder Pommes …einfallslos Mensch ihr Hellenen könnt doch viel mehr als nur diese Standard Dinger …ihr habt so eine tolle Küche und beschränkt sie auf dieses langweilige Zeug ….Spezialteller ( Hähnchen war trocken und Hackfleischbällchen fad….) Preis/Leistung eher negativ… Also schlecht seid ihr nicht aber gut auch nicht ….Ihr könnt mehr draus machen und mehr Aufmerksamkeit auf euch ziehen…ich will euch nicht schlecht machen sondern auffordern...
